2025 Vintage
"Vintage 2025 in Chablis: freshness and concentration"
Harvest start: August 29, 2025
The 2025 vintage will remain as a particularly surprising year in Burgundy. Despite lower volumes than expected, climatic conditions have allowed us to produce wines of a high quality, thanks in particular to the excellent health of the grapes and a good concentration of aromas and matter.
Marked by significant millerandage and two heatwaves, the year encouraged berry concentration while maintaining an frame of acidity, which is essential for the balance and freshness of the wines. The rains during the harvest also helped to preserve this freshness.
For white wines, two profiles stand out: fresh and delicate wines with aromas of white fruit, such as pear and peach, and fuller and rounder wines with notes of exotic fruits. A diversity of profiles which is explained in particular by the different terroirs, microclimates and dates of harvest.
The 2025 vintage thus promises to be balanced, harmonious, and expressive, with a beautiful concentration and aging potential that suggests very beautiful wines in the years to come.
